The kids in the Duck Pond & Kingdom Rock have been having a great time learning about God’s word and STANDING STRONG!

We want to help equip families to have “faith talks” and generally grow in their faith together as a family. Each month you will be given a TAKE IT HOME sheet that will include the Bible Points, Stories and Verses that your child(ren) will be learning each Sunday. We always want to encourage families to read the Bible at home and to learn the verses and songs with their family.

Has your family been learning the Bible Verse together?  We hope so!  Learning God’s word is great fun when you learn it together as a family!

Have you and your kids been listening to the Books of the Bible songs on your CD?  A great way to learn some really tough words! Say Thessalonians five times fast!

We want to encourage a global focus, which also flows through our mission statement at Riverside.  To help with this every few weeks your child will be learning about a missionary family around the world through the Wesleyan Kids for Missions program.

Coming Up!

The next verse the “Big Kids” will be learning in Kingdom Rock is “Trust the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock” Isaiah 26:4.  The focus the next few weeks will be that Trusting God helps us STAND STRONG!  Read with your kids the story of how Jesus dies and comes back to life in Luke 22:39-24:12. We’ll also be learning about King Josiah who became a King when he was a child! You can read about him in 2 Kings 22:1-23:23. The theme to end Kingdom Rock is that The Bible Helps us STAND STRONG!  Our last verse will be “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105.

Everyone will be learning about Daniel and the Lions Den…he’s got a WHOLE book in the Bible named after him!  Check it out!  Pretty cool story he has!
